This is a watercolor/oil pastel mixed media piece. Unfinished. She needs hair. It's wintertime after all, she'll get the flu.

Will Cupid's Wings Stop?

I need to add a background to this, but I'm not sure what. It's an expanded study of Cupid from a Greek vase.

Love and Harmony Combine v. 1

I started this piece inspired by a "song" by William Blake. When I read it, for some reason it made me think of an octopus, or octopi, with intertwined tentacles morphing into a tree. This is one version of the idea. It is not complete yet.

Wispy Tree Update...Finally

The tree is done. Looking at the picture now, I think I'm gonna add some more dark tones to the clouds. Then, the bird will be added. So close to completion.

I have done some new pieces within the last week but my little digital camera seems to refuse take pictures or when I'm able to take them, upload onto the computer. This is one of the few instances that not having a smart phone has been a real pain. Hopefully, by this weekend I'll be able to post them and possibly have some more pieces done as well. Artist's Statement

"We are only as important as the relationships we maintain."

This is not to say that it's "who you know, not what you know," but rather it's the relationships with our family members, friends, colleagues and enemies that create the perceptions and images of ourselves. We make ourselves, true, but it's impossible to do so in a vacuum. 

The inspiration for 2013 for me will be you, those in my life who have been my muse, whether with intent or by accident. These forthcoming pieces will represent each one of you in some way. 

Your desired subject born from my mind and hand. The goal is to create a three pieces per person. The content does not have to flow or connect in any way. It can be whatever you want. 

It will be random, but what isn't.
